Turnip Goldball – originally from Russia and eaten by the ancient Greeks and Romans. Tops are used in salads or cooked. An excellent source of vitamin A and C as well as Calcium. Roots are tender when young. Sow in early spring to late autumn in well-drained, rich organic matter soil. The Goldball is ready in 44-65 days and has a golden yellow flesh, fine rich fl;avour and grows 8-10 cm.
