See below for info on nominations for 2003
The Froggies awards are an annual event held by SCRAP to recognise and reward students and schools who have shown outstanding environmental achievements. The Froggies began in 1999 and have continued to grow ever since, with more schools attending and bigger and better entertainment being provided each year. Eeco (at right) has been the ambassador for the Froggies and has proudly put in an appearance at every ceremony, providing much entertainment by singing, dancing and presenting awards. The 2003 Froggies Awards were held at Revesby Workers Club on the 10th December, launched by Richard Morecroft. This year a record number of nominations were received from schools right across NSW. MC for the day was Gardening Australia's Andrew O'Sullivan and entertainment came from Mic Conway and the National Junk Band and a number of student performers. Almost 600 people from around 70 organisations attended the awards ceremony to witness 10 Froggies awarded to the leading environmental schools in the state.
